well seasons 1-4 were my favorites, but I’d have to say season 2 was honestly the best, I just loved everyone on that season, I had like the biggest crush on Daniel V lol
Season 11 = New Season Format, Plus New Featured Judge!
The rumors have been confirmed of the new season which is the eleventh season of Project Runway that will be full of new designers. The twist is that they will be split into teams. When I first heard the news, I could not help but be baffled with utter shock. I am honestly not fond of team challenges that will be all season. I just cannot get into that kind of idea.
Project Runway” is also spicing up the judges panel this season with the addition of featured judge, award-winning fashion designer Zac Posen, to help rate the designs alongside Heidi Klum and Nina Garcia. Tim Gunn, will, once again, serve as the mentor, as they sew their way to New York Fashion Week at Lincoln Center where Michael Kors will serve as the finale guest judge. I would have preferred Kors to be apart of the judge panel.
This season will feature guest judges which I am excited to see them judge the new designers each season. The list consist of Bette Midler, Oscar winner Susan Sarandon, country music sensation and Grammy® Award winner Miranda Lambert, Grammy-winning singer songwriter John Legend, red-carpet fashion experts Joan and Melissa Rivers, Emmy Rossum, Kristin Davis, Jordana Brewster and designers Rachel Roy, Tracy Reese, Chris Benz and “Project Runway” winner Christian Siriano.
This season’s victorious designer will receive $100,000 from L’Oréal Paris to start his/her own line, a fashion spread in Marie Claire magazine, a 2013 Lexus GS 350, a $50,000 technology suite by HP and Intel to create his/her own vision and run his/her business and the opportunity to design and sell an exclusive collection at Lord & Taylor. The model paired with the winner of Project Runway will also appear in the designer’s Marie Claire editorial feature and receive $25,000 from L’Oréal Paris EverStyle.
I am still tuning in to this season or I might change my mind lol. I will let my fashionistas know if I will be reviewing the new season of Project Runway. I am still excited for the new season.
